GALA in Dublin – March 12-5

We attended and presented at the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) Conference in Dublin March 12-15.
Mohamed Hassan, our VP of Localization and Enterprise Solutions, presented and lead a breakout session. For over 24 years, Mohamed has worked with top tier brands across the world. His expertise in the field has helped many clients localize their products, services and brands across different cultures, creating the ultimate native experience.; Mohamed is experienced in localization, globalization, branding, and digital marketing strategy. A speaker in localization and content events, Mohamed helps create awareness about the need for globalization and localization aspects in today’s business world.
At the GALA Conference, Mohamed led the breakout session on “Redesigning The Localization Process for End-User Experience.” He emphasized that the three main ingredients to any localization process are humans, process, and technology. The balance of these ingredients impacts cost, quality, and efficiency and getting it right makes a huge difference for your employees, company, and clients. His session discussed a holistic approach to the value chain, focusing on end-user experience and content consumption. The approach considers a) all contributors, b) client size, maturity, c) client industry and standards, d) content planning, types, and distribution, e) laws and regulations, f) security, governance, and compliance, g) end-users’ personas, h) quality grades and standards, and i) content performance and market feedback.
