San Jose (Spanish for Saint Joseph), is the third-largest city by population in California, the tenth-largest by population in the United States.
A high percentage of foreign-born residents (39.0% of the population) live in San Jose. These include many high-tech workers from East and South Asia, Eastern European immigrants, as well as immigrants from Latin America. San Jose also has the largest Vietnamese population of any city in the world outside of Vietnam.
